Third Leg:
Pennsylvania to Oregon


We caught the full moon rising as we made our way South
along the Appalachian Mtns in Virginia and West Virginia.


We visited JJ's friend Rhonda and her family in West Virginia.

The Gateway Arch greeted us as we crossed the Missouri River into the West.

A great stone church sat in the foreground below Mt. Meeker
as we approached Rocky Mountain National Park from the east side.

The Rocky Mountains held many snowfields and some good wildlife viewing.

This fox was a sentinel along our drive through
one of the national forests in Western Colorado.

JJ took a moment to soak in the sun at Rabbit Ears Pass in Western CO.

We emerged on the Western side of Salt Lake City and found
some space for the dogs to run in the Wasatch National Forest.
